Beisecker Mr. Beisecker attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND majoring in history & political science Mark began his career in the construction industry in 1977 working as a heavy equipment operator. He joined APAC-Kansas,Inc.’s Wilkerson-Maxwell Division in 1984. In less than a year he was promoted to Division Safety Director. He also assumed the same titles at two other divisions of the APAC group. In 1990 he joined L & A Contracting Co., as the Corporate Safety Director where he managed the safety and insurance program for a period of 10 years. Mark joined Zurich North America’s Construction Risk Engineering team in 2000 where he was responsible for providing risk-engineering services to ownership and project managers and OCIP programs in an effort to reduce losses and increase profitability at both the project and corporate level. He also facilitated the integration of underwriting, risk engineering and claims services. Mark joined the New Orleans office of Willis in 2006, and after 16 months joined the consulting firm of CM-Services, Inc. Finally in 2009 Mark formed South Mississippi Safety Associates, LLC to provide high end risk engineering services to the construction and insurance industries. Mark has been a guest lecturer at Construction Financial Managers Association, University of Southern Mississippi, Associated General Contractors, Society of Human Resources and the Roadbulders of Mississippi. He has also authored articles in the USA Today, and Construction Business Owners Magazine, (2). Mr. Beisecker maintains professional affiliations with American Society of Safety Engineers (Secretary & Vice President of MS Chapter, 1992 & 1993; Founder and President of Pine Belt Chapter, 1993 & 1994, 2004, - 2007; Pine Belt Chapter Safety Professional of the Year, 1994; Pine Belt Chapter Hall of Fame, 2000); ABC Safety Committee Member (Birmingham, AL Chapter); Mississippi Roadbuilders Association; International Society of Explosive Engineers and the Society of Human Resources Managers.
